Have your pest-control company provide a verbal report of the general condition of your crawl space after each pest inspection. This report should give you an early indication of any developing problems.

Visually inspect your crawl space on a regular basis. If you begin to notice standing water, drooping insulation or a powdery black or white substance on your floor joists call us immediately for a free evaluation.

Install a wireless humidity sensor in the crawl space & monitor. Maintain a humidity reading of 50-60% for healthy wood and to inhibit mold growth. Wireless sensors can be found at your local hardware store for about $25.00

Clean and dry a leak or major spill as soon as possible. This will prevent moisture from getting soaked into your furniture, walls, flooring and framing where mold loves to grow.
